LOGIS Production Planner is a factory planning solution designed to prepare advantageous production plans and schedules that consider new requirements and enable a synchronized material flow across the plant. It considers capacity and material requirements as well as many other constraints like the availability of tooling, operators, alternative resources or processes, and many other, including company-specific constraints.

In this live demo, we are going to demonstrate what it is like to work with LOGIS Production Planner on an example of an imaginary manufacturing company.

AI-powered features in LOGIS Production Planner

For the first time on the Japanese market, LOGIS is introducing a new version of LOGIS Production Planner that leverages AI to make the factory planning solution even more powerful.

The new AI features enable the users to directly communicate with the planning system using chat and ask questions like “Why is this order delayed?” or “What could be done to produce the late orders on time?”, and LOGIS Production Planner then provides detailed, feasible answers and may even execute them if desired.

Usage of AI also makes it easier to monitor data quality issues, to make information from the planning system available to management without needing direct access to the planning system (or expert knowledge on how to work with it), and so forth. The areas AI applicability are vast, and LOGIS is going to introduce selected examples of already developed features, demonstrating its usability.
